Asmat Police Destroyed 2,196 Bottles Of Alcohol

The Asmat Police destroyed 2,196 bottles that were previously secured from inside two containers transported by KM MM, in Agats, South Papua.

Asmat Police Chief AKBP Agus Hariadi said thousands of alcoholic beverages from various brands arrived in Agats, Thursday (21/9) and Friday (22/9). When the containers were opened, thousands of alcoholic beverages were found.

The liquor was found along with various mixed items in the two containers.

"It is not known who the owner is, so members are currently still investigating," said Police Chief Agus, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 23.

Thousands of bottles of alcoholic beverages were destroyed by throwing their contents out. The most illegal findings were alcohol.

Meanwhile, the Asmat Regional Secretary! Amiyaram expressed his gratitude to the TNI-Polri personnel who served in Asmat Regency for their cooperation in eradicating the circulation of alcoholic drinks.

A total of 2,196 bottles of unclaimed alcoholic beverages consist of 112 cartons of red wine, 41 cartons of Guinness black beer, 66 cartons of King Rimba Singaraja's white beer five cartons, with a total of 2,196 bottles.
