Regarding Mergers With Waskita, Hutama Karya Boss Opens Voice
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK Budi Harto revealed the progress regarding the planned merger or merger between HK and Waskita Karya. He said this plan would be realized after Waskita completed the restructuring.
As is known, SOE Minister Erick Thohir plans to combine BUMN works between Hutama Karya and Waskita Karya.
"It's still being restructured, only after the merger is complete," he said after a meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 19.
On this occasion, Budi said Waskita Karya is currently restructuring. Therefore, the company will complete the construction of Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung (Kapalbetung) on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road and the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Segment Cibadak-West Sukabumi. The settlement will begin in 2024.
Budi explained that Waskita Karya was carrying out financial restructuring, so the 2024 State Capital Participation (PMN) was given through Hutama Karya.
Furthermore, Budi said the PMN would be used to complete the two toll roads.
"The PMN happens to be disbursed in 2024. So it is hoped that the completion of the construction of the two toll roads will begin in 2024," he said.
