161 PSN Completed In Eight Years, RI Kian's Competitiveness Increases
The government through the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) of the Economy stated that one of the efforts to support the national economic transformation agenda towards Indonesia Gold 2045 is through the development of the National Strategic Project (PSN) infrastructure.
Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said that in the last eight years positive achievements could be made with the completion of 161 PSN with an investment value of Rp1,134.9 trillion.
"This is a positive thing, and we can also see for example the MRT in Jakarta. This certainly proves that PSN has a tremendous economic impact," he said in an official statement quoted on Thursday, September 14.
According to Airlangga, the initiative to boost PSN is accompanied by various conveniences ranging from spatial licensing, land acquisition, government guarantees (overeign guarantees), and support for the completion of constraints (debottletracking).
In addition, the Government has also drafted regulations for non-APBN financing schemes such as Limited Concession Scheme and Land Value Capture.
"This boosts our competitiveness, our competitiveness will increase," he said.
Previously, President Joko Widodo had revealed that PSN had been able to have an impact on the national economy
"The completion of various other projects is expected to be carried out until 2024," said the head of state.

For information, based on the International Institute for Management Development, Indonesia's competitiveness in 2022 will be ranked 44th. This achievement rose to 34th in 2023.
"The increase in the 10 rankings is the highest increase in the world and one of them is because of infrastructure matters that we can solve a lot," said the President.
The various PSNs whose construction has been completed include industrial areas, tourism, trade, residential, roads and bridges, energy, airports, smelters, to the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem.
In addition, there are also 68 projects that are still in the construction stage as well as 31 projects and 9 programs that have partially operated.
