Volkswagen Presents IDX Performance, EV Car Concept With Performance
JAKARTA - Volkswagen (VW) is further strengthening its commitment to presenting electrification vehicles. Not only releasing models intended for daily vehicles, but also vehicles that are concerned with high performance aspects.
Recently, VW released a model dedicated to performance, namely IDX Performance. Different from most VW models, IDX Performance has aggressive characteristics drawn on body and engine.
ID.X Performance takes the base from ID.7, which is the latest model. This car is presented conceptually, but there are several interesting things about this vehicle.
The front bottom Grill is changed with an aggressive design that helps airflow in optimizing car performance. IDX Performance, reported by Motor1, Friday, September 8, also features carbon fiber and a typical red GTI trim that adorns the entire vehicle.
VW ID.X Performance is also equipped with a set of 20-inch sports rims covered in Michelin racing tires. The sporty impression is coupled with a large rear wing that protects the baggage cap and the lower diffuser made of carbon fiber.
The German manufacturer also set up this concept car by making its altitude 60 mm lower than the standard ID.7, so that vehicles get maximum grip and downforce when maneuvering.
If the standard version of ID.7 has 282 dk power, VW improves performance of IDX Performance by almost double. Built on the MEB platform, VW ID.X is implanted with a dual electric motor of 550 dk, where this is an outstanding performance for electric vehicles.

It is known, the meeting was an ID customer initiative. which is also a member of the ID. Drivers Club. In 2023, there will be a record new presence with more than 130 vehicles.
