South Sulawesi DPRD Immediately Forms Special Committee For Alleged Mutation Violations
Deputy Chairperson of the South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD, Syaharuddin Alrif, conveyed the results of a meeting with South Sulawesi Governor Bachtiar Baharuddin that there were several things that were discussed, one of which was the alleged mutation of hundreds of ASN suspected of being full of political interests.
"Earlier, we discussed recovery ASN, of course we asked for a policy from the governor. For example, in case studies, there is data that I can be sent to the WA group of the South Sulawesi DPRD by Mr. Karlos, someone has retired, but given a position. Retiring in eight months, August, he was inaugurated in September," said Syaruddin after a joint meeting at the South Sulawesi DPRD office, Makassar, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 6.
From this incident, it is suspected that there was a procedural violation because there was no administrative process and it was deemed not in accordance with the applicable ASN rules. For this reason, his party immediately followed up on the report.
"We ask Commission A to immediately establish a Special Committee (Special Committee) related to this matter, so that there will be data collection on how many people (transmitted) to be known. I also ask Mr. Karlos at Commission A to do these works so that the data is open," he said.
Another Deputy Chairperson of the DPRD, Darmawansyah Muin, added that the submission for the formation of a Special Committee related to alleged violations of administrative procedures for reports of mutations of hundreds of ASN had been submitted to the Acting Governor.
"Regarding the next steps, especially the Acting Governor, of course, does not really know for sure (ASN mutations). But for sure, the Acting Governor gave the green light to us to take concrete steps in the DPRD and provide input and submissions," he said.
According to him, so far there have been several reports that have been received that there are allegations of unilateral mutations and the placement of positions is not in accordance with the rank so that injustice occurs. In order to ensure this allegation, the Special Committee can submit it.
"Maybe we can apply through the Special Committee level, or in what way so that it is more clear and clean. The submission from the DPRD is also to restore good names or positions that may not be fulfilled or do not meet the requirements, then shifted," said Darmawansyah.
Member of Commission A Syamsuddin Karlos emphasized that if the Special Committee has been formed, a direct search and search for strong evidence will be carried out that leads to alleged violations of the procedure.
"We will find out actually, because it can't be like that. The DPRD must protect everything including ASN. I don't know for sure the number, but it is estimated that there are approximately 400 people. This could be a MURI record, because in the near future it will mutate that many people," said Karlos.

Previously, former South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman in his final term as governor on Monday, September 4, 2023 in his last Apple remarks attended by Forkopimda and several regional heads at the Governor's Office apologized for frequent mutations. He argued because of policies and demands for bureaucratic reform.
"I thank you very much and apologize, including changing positions and so on," said Sudirman in his remarks.
The younger brother of former Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman stated that the mutation process was a natural thing in the bureaucracy considering bureaucratic reform is a policy from the central government.
