Kenzie (11), a boy who drowned, was found lying face down at the depths of the East Flood Canal (KBT), near the BKT floodgate, Malaka Jaya Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

The evacuation was carried out by one of the residents who dived and managed to reach the victim's body at the bottom of the BKT flow.
"One of the residents who entered the water immediately grabbed one of the victims. It was immediately achieved and directed to a rubber boat," he said.
According to information gathered, previously the victim Kenzie swam in the BKT stream with two friends. The three victims then drowned. However, two of the victim's friends managed to survive.
"Initially at the TKP there were three children swimming, the others can be saved," he said.
