PDIP And PPP Will Hold A Meeting Next Week, This Is What Sandiaga Uno Said

"I got information that next week there will be a meeting," Sandiaga told reporters at ICE BSD, Tangerang Regency, Sunday, September 3.

When asked whether the discussion was aimed at the Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres), Sandi was reluctant to answer. Because it is not his authority.

"All of this talk is carried out at the leadership level of a political party," he said.

Previously reported, the Chairperson of the PPP DPP Achmad Baidowi or Awiek responded to the discourse of the Sandiaga Uno-Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) duet that has recently emerged to the public. Awiek emphasized that PPP still consistently proposes Sandiaga to be Ganjar Pranowo's vice presidential candidate.

It is known that PPP has collaborated with PDIP to support Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024. Meanwhile, AHY is predicted to be included in the vice presidential exchange accompanying Anies Baswedan in the Change Coalition.

"From PPP, until now it is still consistent and istiqomah with the decision of the PPP Rapimnas," said Awiek at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, August 31.

"There are two Rapimnas, the first is Rapimnas V who mentioned that PPP carries and cooperates with PDIP. Second, Rapimnas VI recommends Sandiaga Uno as a vice presidential reading offered to Ganjar Pranowo. So, as long as the results of the National Rapimnas have not changed, PPP will be consistent like that," he continued.

Awiek ensured that PPP would comply with the applicable mechanism. He also considered that the issue of the Sandiaga and AHY duet was just a discourse.

"Regarding the discourse, it's called discourse, it's normal. There are observers talking, the media assessing and volunteers want it, but we still obey and obey the party's mechanism, namely the Rapimnas decision," said Awiek.
