Police Have Arrested Students Bringing Sickles Many Times, They Don't Want To Spend Their Opponents To Death

Many victims from students, who were minors, died tragically due to sharp weapons by other students. Although the police have given strict sanctions with articles of persecution to murder, they do not deter the perpetrators from students.
This time, the police secured 2 sharp weapons (sajam) of sickle type from a student in Senen, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator and the evidence were handed over to the Senen Police for further processing.
"The perpetrator is still in junior high school, I haven't checked his identity. The age of the perpetrator is around 15 years old, he's still in junior high school. That he wanted to fight when he met the precision team of the police, so he was arrested. So it's not a brawl yet, we found out that we were taken," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Senen Police, Iptu Asep Dadang when confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 28, morning.

For further handling, the Senen Police Criminal Investigation Unit will involve the victim's Fathers and parents.
"He is still a minor, if he is underage, he is subject to a child protection law. Later, Fathers, call his parents. We can't determine whether (the case) follow-up or not, because if children are different, the handling is special. It's different from general adult crimes," he explained.
