Efforts to extinguish the fire and extinguish the fire by land have been carried out since last Friday," said Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center Abdul Muhari as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, August 26.

The fire was observed at the Gunung Ciremai National Park on Friday (25/8), at 10.30 WIB. Temporary reports, the fire was in several blocks of the Mount Ciremai National Park located in Pasawahan Village, Pasawahan District.

The fire-affected blocks are in the Talaga Bogo-Batu Luhur Block, Kuda Stone, Beuhuengan Stone, Tegal Bodas, Jalan Maling, Panjak Rama, Karang Dindang and Jalan Bukit Seribu Bintang. The forest and land area was burned by about 133 hectares.

"Wind factors make it difficult to deal with fires in the area," said Abdul.

The speed and gusts of the wind made it difficult for the personnel to extinguish the fire. The gusts of wind in the area fluctuate, said Abdul,

In addition, the challenges faced in the field are rocky and steep terrain.
