Based on the results of the examination by the East Kalimantan Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the loss from the 2016 KONI grant case amounted to Rp 2.63 billion.Subhan said it was possible that there would be other suspects in this case because the Samarinda prosecutor was still examining a number of witnesses."Currently, we are still examining a number of witnesses, including the management of the KONI for that period and the management of sports," added Head of the Criminal Section (Kasi) Kasi Pidsus Kejari Samarinda Elon Unedo Pinondang Pasaribu.The NS suspect, said Elon, was suspected of violating Article 2 and Article 3 of Law 18/1999 in conjunction with Law 20/2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.It is known that the former treasurer of KONI Samarinda is not the first time he has stumbled upon a legal problem against corruption.Previously, NS was sentenced to four years in prison in a case of alleged corruption in the management of KONI Samarinda grant funds, East Kalimantan in 2014 amounting to Rp 64 billion.Apart from NS, in the case that cost the state finances RP 7 billion, the panel of judges also sentenced the former Chairman of KONI Samarinda to 5 years in prison, and the former Head of the Samarinda City Youth and Sports Service 2 years and six months in prison.
