Hyundai Pockets A Total Of 3,727 SPKs At GIIAS 2023, Ioniq 5 Behind Stargazer
JAKARTA - The automotive manufacturer from South Korea, Hyundai, successfully crashed into the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) by showing its flagship vehicle.
In addition to introducing the two newest vehicles for the Indonesian market, namely Stargazer X and Ioniq 6, Hyundai also achieved impressive sales results at the event which took place at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Through PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), this manufacturer managed to record 3,727 units of Vehicle Ordering Letters. The largest contribution came from the latest model Stargazer.
Franciscus Soerjopranoto, as the Chief Operating Officer of PT HMID, stated that this positive result was driven by a positive response from visitors to Hyundai products exhibited at GIIAS 2023.
"We will continue to meet the needs and trends of consumers in this industry by providing the best products, services, and innovations that increase customer satisfaction. This is in line with our commitment to implementing a customer-oriented approach in every solution we offer," said Suryo, as he is usually called, in an official statement, Tuesday, August 22.
Of the total 3,727 Vehicle Ordering Letters, Stargazer Hyundai contributed the highest number, which was 1,600 units, including the latest model, Stargazer X.
This positive achievement is also seen in Hyundai's mainstay electric vehicle, Ioniq 5, which continues to attract the attention of visitors year after year, recording 776 Vehicle Ordering Letters. Then followed by Hyundai Creta with 768 orders.
Carrying the concept of "Hyundai Horizon of Innovation," Hyundai comes at GIIAS 2023 with a booth covering an area of 3,042 square meters, making it one of the largest booths in this edition.

Hyundai brought some of its famous models into the largest automotive events in Southeast Asia, such as Creta, Stargazer, Stagazer X, Palisade, Staria, Santa Fe, as well as Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 electric vehicles.
Hyundai has also successfully launched its newest LSUV, Stargazer X, which is a strong competitor to Mitsubishi Xpander Cross and Suzuki XL7 in the Indonesian market. Prices start at IDR 325.6 million for Style type, while Prime types sell for IDR 336.2 million, this price includes On The Road in the DKI Jakarta area.
In addition to Stargazer X, HMID also introduced the latest electric vehicle, Ioniq 6, at a price of IDR 1.197 billion On The Road DKI Jakarta. Customers who choose the Matte color option can add IDR 3.5 million.
