Jokowi To North Sumatra Today, Here's The Agenda

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo has arrived at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, since 09.20 WIB.

Based on a press release received, in Jakarta, Saturday, a working visit to North Sumatra, this is to attend the Opening of the XXIII Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) in 2023.

The President's arrival was greeted directly by the TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono, North Sumatra Governor Edy Rahmayadi, Bukit Barisan Military Commander I Major General Achmad Daniel C, and North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Agung Setya Imam.

From the airport, the President and his entourage immediately continued their journey to the Multipurpose Building of the North Sumatra Provincial Government, Deli Serdang Regency, to attend and inaugurate the opening of the XXIII Congress of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) in 2023.

After that, the President and his entourage will go to Sukaramai Market, Medan City, to review the prices and supplies of a number of food commodities. In addition, the President will distribute social assistance to traders in the market.

In the afternoon, the President is scheduled to attend the Inauguration of the Management of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) and the Inauguration of the Opening of the 2023 Indonesian Young Forces Movement National Working Meeting (GAMKI), at Banteng Field, Medan City.

The President plans to spend the night in Medan City to continue his work visit the next day.

Previously, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday afternoon, the President and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta, at around 07.10 WIB, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Also accompanying the President on the flight to North Sumatra Province were Minister of Youth and Sports Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, Presidential Military Secretary Admiral TNI Hersan, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Rafael Granada Baay, and Special Staff to President Billy Mambrasar.
