Unlike Neighbors, This Is What The Mayor Said The Cause Of Depok Is Still Safe From Pollution
The issue of air pollution has increasingly attracted the attention of residents of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta and its surroundings in the past two weeks.
Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris stated that the quality of the city's air is still clean and safe from pollution because the number of existing factories tends to be less than neighboring areas.
"The quality of the air in Depok is relatively safe, based on data obtained from air quality measuring devices at a number of points, such as on Jalan Raya Sawangan, especially Jalan Margonda Raya," said Mohammad Idris in Depok, Thursday.
According to the tool, he said, Depok's air quality is still better than the surrounding metropolitan city, because the number of factories in Depok is relatively less than other surrounding areas.
"From the side of the equipment we installed at Depok City Hall and Margonda, it is relatively lower for air pollution," said Idris, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 17.
Evidence of air quality in Depok City is very safe, he continued, is the increasing number of people who come.
"The city of Depok is still safe and very safe, this is also evidenced by the addition of the population of Depok, which this year is relatively more than Jakarta, the addition of its population, the migration of its residents," said Mayor Idris.
