Greet The People Who Were Present At The Merdeka Palace During The Indonesian Independence Day, Jokowi Was Invited To Take A Photo Together

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo greeted the people who were present at the Merdeka Palace to attend the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation at the celebration of the 78th Indonesian Independence Day in Jakarta, Thursday, August 17.

The President seemed to visit the tent where the invited guests sat. He had shaking hands, had a dialogue and took selfies with the community.

The people present were heard calling out the name of the President so they could shake hands and take pictures together.

The President at this ceremony wore the clothes of the Ageman Songkok Singkepan Ageng area which are usually worn by the Raja Pakubwono Surakarta.

Quoted from ANTARA, the President will act as inspector of the ceremony at the ceremony which is expected to be the last ceremony to be held at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

It is important to note that next year's Proclamation Seconds Commemoration Ceremony is projected to be held in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) of East Kalimantan.

The Heritage Flag-raising Troop Team (Paskibraka) itself is ready to fly the Red and White flag at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia Thursday, August 17, 2023. The designated team is called the Advanced Indonesia Team.
