1.8 Kg Of Marijuana From North Sumatra Successfully Thwarted Circulating In Bima NTB

The personnel of the Bima City Resort Police (Polres), West Nusa Tenggara confiscated about 1.8 kilograms of marijuana from North Sumatra from a resident with the initials AA (26) from Belo, Bima Regency. Head of Bima City Police AKBP Rohadi said this confiscation was a follow-up to the development of information from the public. "Furthermore, from this public information, the Cobra Bravo Satresnarkoba Bima City Police team revealed a case of possession of marijuana with a weight of at least 1.8 kilograms from a resident with the initials AA," said Rohadi, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 14. The disclosure of the case, he explained, took place at around 09.00 WITA. The perpetrator was arrested in the vicinity of a road intersection near SMKN 2 Bima City. "So, evidence of marijuana was found during a search at the place that was witnessed by residents around the arrest location," he said. According to the perpetrator's confession, the evidence was obtained from an order in the North Sumatra region. Goods came with a delivery method through one of the shipping expedition services in Bima City.

Furthermore, Rohadi said that his party had secured the perpetrators at the Bima City Police Headquarters. The legal process against AA is still ongoing at the examination stage. "The perpetrators along with evidence of dried marijuana leaves and a number of other evidences have been secured at the Bima City Police Headquarters for follow-up as applicable law," he said.
