JCI A Week Up 0.4 Percent, Market Capitalization Reaches IDR 10,056 Trillion
JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) for a week has increased by 0.4 percent. JCI a week closed at the level of 6,879.98.
Citing IDX trading data, Saturday, August 12, the IDX recorded an increase in the average daily transaction value by 5.28 percent to Rp12,245 trillion. Where, this amount was compared to the previous week at Rp11,631 trillion.
The market capitalization value this week increased by 0.9 percent to Rp10,056 trillion from Rp9,967 trillion at the close of the previous week. The average volume has changed compared to the previous week's period, 19.55 percent to 18,108 billion shares from 22.507 billion shares, respectively.
Meanwhile, the average natural frequency changes 4.29 percent to 1,090,176 transactions from 1,139,039 transactions a week ago.
Foreign investors on Friday, August 12 recorded a net selling value of IDR 278.80 billion. So, throughout 2023 foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of IDR 7.039 trillion.

In terms of bonds, the total bond and sukuk emissions recorded throughout 2023 are 70 emissions from 50 issuers worth IDR 79.60 trillion.
With this recording, the total emission of bonds and sukuk recorded on the IDX amounted to 533 emissions with an outstanding nominal value of IDR 469.08 trillion and 47.5 million US dollars, issued by 129 issuers.
State Securities (SBN) were recorded on the IDX totaling 191 series with a nominal value of Rp5,536.74 trillion and 486.11 million US dollars. EBA has 9 emissions worth Rp3.13 trillion.
