AHM Officially Released Its First Electric Motorcycle At GIIAS 2023
JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) officially launched its first electric motorcycle, EM1 e:, at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The motorbike has been long awaited since it was presented in Indonesia in February.
Honda EM1 e: this is Honda's first step towards electrification. What's more, the motorbike carries a futuristic design with the latest technology that will pamper customers.
Mitshuishi's milk, as President Director of PT AHM, said that the presence of EM1 e: is a company commitment so that people can feel the best technology and quality on Honda's first electric motorcycle.
"We present this motorbike to Indonesians who are waiting for high-quality electric motorcycles that can provide safety, comfort, and pleasure when driving them. We also complete the presence of Honda EM1 e: with a battery charging option that best suits consumer needs," Mitsuishi said in a statement, Friday, August 11.
The electric motor is equipped with LED lighting at all lighting points. In order to meet customer needs, Honda EM1 e: equipped with an inner shelf and a USB charger type A. The instrument panel presented is also digital which displays various information regarding speed, distance, clock, trip meter, and power mode options.
Honda EM1 e: has a unique ability, which is to have a battery unit that can be exchanged for the Honda Mobile Power Pack e: which is the basic force of this vehicle.
Consumers can also charge batteries with charging capabilities from 25-75 percent within 2.7 hours and from 0 to 1000 percent within 6 hours. Customers can visit the Honda Power Excharger e station: to exchange the battery for full charging.
Introduced in 2022, EM1 e: has a battery capacity of 1.3 kWh and has a range of 53 km in one charge. Having a maximum electric motor of 2.3 dk, this motor is capable of traveling up to a maximum speed of 45 km/hour.
