Coordinating Ministry For Human Development And Culture Ensures The Learning Process At Al Zaytun Continues
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) ensures that the teaching and learning process at the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School continues even though the police have named its leader, Panji Gumilang, as a suspect.
"No, no students should stop the pesantren because of this issue," said Deputy for Coordination for Education Quality Improvement and Religious Moderation at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Warsito, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 3.
Warsito said that technically efforts to recover the teaching and learning process will be fostered by the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) accompanied by the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of West Java (Jabar) and the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
This effort is carried out through curriculum coaching so that it is in line with Pancasila and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as it has become the obligation of the Indonesian people.
"So then our emphasis is on efforts to foster and assist educational institutions under the Al Zaytun Foundation," he said.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy some time ago has also conveyed that the education rights of the students must be guaranteed and must not be disturbed by the process of resolving the Panji Gumilang case.
This affirmation was taken because there were around 4,985 students who were studying at the pesantren.
