84 Percent Of Bogor City Residents Feel Satisfied With Bima Arya-Dedie Rachim's Performance
BOGOR - The level of satisfaction with the performance of the Bogor City Government led by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya and his deputy, Dedie A Rachim is relatively high. Satisfaction with the performance of the Bogor City government is at 84.5% (very satisfied 18.5% + quite satisfied 66.0%).
Charta Politica Indonesia released a survey on Public Perceptions regarding the Performance Satisfaction of the Bogor City Government in 2023. The survey was conducted in Bogor City on July 18, 2023, through face-to-face interviews using structured questionnaires.
The number of samples was 400 respondents, spread across 6 sub-districts in Bogor City. The methodology used is a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error buh (4.9%) at 95% confidence level.
As a result, the level of satisfaction with the performance of the Bogor City Government led by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya and his deputy, Dedie A Rachim is relatively high. Satisfaction with the performance of the Bogor City government is at 84.5% (very satisfied 18.5% + quite satisfied 66.0%).
While the level of dissatisfaction is at 14.0% (less satisfied 12.5% + dissatisfied at all 1.5%) and those who say they don't know/don't answer 1.5%.
The level of satisfaction of the Bogor City Government if viewed by sub-district, the top three who have the highest satisfaction are in Central Bogor (very satisfied 23% + quite satisfied 73%), West Bogor (very satisfied 24% + quite satisfied 64%) and Tanah Sareal (very satisfied 11% + quite 75%).
When compared to the Bogor City survey between 2022 and 2023, there was an increase in public satisfaction with the performance of the Bogor City Government. In 2022 (very satisfied 10.3% + quite satisfied 63.5%) and in 2023 (very satisfied 18.5% + quite satisfied 66.0%).
On the Bogor City Government's performance satisfaction assessment, the program that is considered the most successful by the public at the top three is the comfort of the city park 91%, 78% health services and 77% pedestrian facilities.
In addition, the Bogor City Government program that is most widely known to the public, when asked an open question (without any choice of answer) is Infrastructure 37.5%, then transportation 9.8%, exercise 2.5%, health 2.5%.
Public approval of the current implementation of traffic engineering scenarios is related to the Otista 78.5% bridge work project.
The public agreed to the implementation of one-way traffic around the Bogor Botanical Gardens if the Otista bridge project had been completed 64.0%.
Public Policy Observer from IPB University, Ernan Rustiadi responded to the survey results. He revealed that the results of this survey showed the appreciation and high perception of the people of the city of Bogor towards the leadership of the local government.
The 84.5% satisfaction level is a relatively high achievement of satisfaction for a democratic country like Indonesia.
On the other hand, Ernan said, this survey also provides information on the aspects and areas of development that are most appreciated and most needed attention in the future.
He said, in Central Bogor District, the satisfaction level reached 96%, much higher than other sub-districts, such as in East Bogor District (76%).

This is assumed because people in the Central Bogor area are the ones who get the most benefits of the various policies and programs achieved, especially regarding access to city parks, city infrastructure, pedestrian facilities and health services.
"In addition, the aspect of government budget transparency also needs to be addressed by improving the quality of communication related to the development budget system," said Ernan.
