High-Dedicated Hajj Officers Will Get Surprises, Minister Of Religion Yaqut: What Is It? Later
Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas prepared a surprise in the form of an award for the performance of the 2023 Hajj officers who were highly dedicated while serving the pilgrims in the Holy Land.
"We will give awards to Hajj officers. However, while this is still a secret, what is it? Later," said Yaqut Cholil Qoumas after welcoming the arrival of Hajj officers at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Thursday.
Yaqut said the award was a form of gratitude for the performance of the Hajj officers who had exceeded the expectations of the Ministry of Religion.
One form of assessment carried out by Yaqut was based on the appreciation of the pilgrims which was conveyed directly to him by telephone or a short message from WhatsApp (WA).
"I also heard and got a call from the WA from the congregation who appreciated the officers," he said.
Minister of Religion Yaqut has also met pilgrims who have just returned from the Holy Land to listen to their stories about the performance of the officers.
"Officers have worked hard to serve, they (the pilgrims) were moved to tears of the story to me, it was extraordinary. It should be appreciated," he said.
