Sri Sultan Hopes 192nd Anniversary Of Bantul Momentum To Realize A Community Welfare-oriented Government
JATENG - Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X hopes that the 192nd Anniversary of Bantul Regency can be a momentum to realize a government that is oriented towards community welfare.
Sri Sultan's hope was said by Bantul Regent Abdul Halim Muslih at the Commemoration of the 192nd Anniversary of Bantul Regency in Bantul, DIY, Thursday, July 20.
"This warning should be accompanied by introspection and retrospection, while remembering the history of Bantul Regency's journey so far, in an effort to realize a government that is oriented towards community welfare," he said, quoted by Antara.
According to him, human development in community and social development within the scope of culture, economy, and nature preservation must be aligned, to achieve a just level of welfare. "All of them must be pursued through a learning process, as a strategy to anticipate various dynamics of change, which is reflected in the Kumbak Kombuling Kahanan, Mobah Mungkreting Donya," he said.
In the context of policy, he said, the 192nd Dirgahayu theme of Bantul Regency, namely "Nyawiji Builds Nagari, Resik Environment, Healthy Lan Makmur Wargane", is also in line with the vision of the Governor of Yogyakarta for 2022-2027. "That is, Creating Pancamulia Masyarakat Jogja, through village reforms, empowerment of the southern region, as well as the development of an innovation culture and the use of information technology," he said.

The measures to achieve this vision are the smaller the poverty rate, the quality of reliable human resources, a better, safe and peaceful environment, a decent economic life, the shrinking inequality between social and inter-regional classes, and good governance at various levels.
