Surrounded By Pecel Lunch, Airlangga Meets Ganjar To Discuss PSN To Politics
JAKARTA - Surrounded by lunch, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto held a meeting with Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo to discuss the National Strategic Project (PSN).
The meeting was held at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Jalan Lapangan Banteng Timur, Central Jakarta, Monday 17 July. Airlangga said that apart from the discussion of PSN, it was also interspersed with political talks during lunch.
"In the meeting room there is no (political discussion), but before the meeting there must be (political discussion), chatting together while eating," said Airlangga in his statement.
As a guest, Ganjar also spoke out with the food given by the host.
He said that the pecel rice and sup were served in the aftermath of the meeting. Ganjar also commented on the portion of Airlangga's meal which was said to be small.
"Earlier there was pecel, sup aftermath, but he ate a little," said Ganjar, greeted by laughter from the media crew and Airlangga.
Airlangga then mentioned a dish that Ganjar had not mentioned.
The two alumni of Gadjah Mada University seemed to be familiar with talking about the food menu they ate this afternoon.
"But there is one (not yet mentioned) related to knowledge, namely Tofu Sumedang," said Airlangga.
Ganjar said there was no special meeting in the discussion of PSN. According to him, the discussion really needs to be done because Ganjar will complete the position of Governor of Central Java on September 5, 2023.
"That's why I am responsible for completing it during my period. So the homework (homework) given to us must be completed," said Ganjar.
It is known, apart from being governor, Ganjar Pranowo is also a presidential candidate promoted by the PDI-P with the United Development Party, Hanura Party, and Perindo Party.

Meanwhile, Airlangga is the General Chair of the Golkar Party, which is predicted to be a presidential candidate in accordance with the decision of his party's national deliberation.
The Golkar Party formed a coalition to face the 2024 General Election with PPP and the National Mandate Party (PAN). However, this coalition is in danger of disbanding because PPP already supports Ganjar.
