Kodam Maximizes Security For Vice President's Visit In Manokwari
MANOKWARI - The XVIII/Kasuari Regional Military Command (Kodam) maximizes security during the working visit of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin in Manokwari Regency, West Papua, on Friday-Saturday, July 14-15.
"The responsibility of the task force led by Dandim 1801/Maokwari Lt. Col. Inf. Sukur Hermanto is the safety of the Vice President and his family while in Manokwari, starting from the plane landing until the plane is taken off to Sorong City," said Irdam XVIII/Kasuari Brigadier General Eko Susetyo in an assembly for the VVIP Opspam's working visit to the Vice President in Manokwari as reported by ANTARA Thursday, July 13.
Eko reminded the Commander of the VVIP Opspam Task Force to inspect all routes that the Vice President and his entourage will pass when carrying out a working visit in Manokwari.
Optimization of security is intended to anticipate all unwanted incidents, so that all members of the task force, both the TNI and Polri, must know their respective duties.
"So I hope that the division of each task must be clear. Dansatgas please coordinate with Paspampres regarding dynamic tasks," explained Eko Susetyo.
He stressed that all personnel should remain vigilant so that incidents such as raising the RMS flag during President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's working visit to Maluku in 2017.
This incident must be a concern to ensure that the first ring security during the Vice President's working visit cannot be passed by people who do not have an interest.
"You have to detect and anticipate so that something strange will not happen. For that, don't consider this security just a ceremonial activity," he said.
