Ambon District Court Judge Jebloskan Defendant Of Corruption E-KTP 6 Years In Prison
The Ambon District Court Corruption Court Panel of Judges sentenced Muhamad Imran Lukman to six years in prison in the case of corruption in the budget for the procurement of the 2028 Electronic KTP (e-KTP) recording device at the West Seram Regency Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil), Maluku.
"To declare the defendant guilty of violating Article 3 Juncto Article 15 Juncto Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Corruption Eradication Juncto Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code," said Chairman of the Panel of Judges Wilson Shriver in Ambon reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.
The defendant, who is a committee for the procurement of goods and services in this project, was also sentenced to pay a fine of Rp. 300 million, subsidiary to three months in prison and to pay compensation of Rp.431.385 million, subsidiary to two years in prison.
"The replacement money was reduced by Rp. 60,300,000 which had been entrusted to the public prosecutor through the West Seram Kejari account so that the replacement money charged to the defendant was reduced to Rp. 411 million," said the panel of judges.
There are also things that burden the defendant, namely not supporting the government's program in eradicating corruption, and as a result of the defendant's actions causing public services to be hampered.
Meanwhile, the mitigating factor was that the defendant was polite during the trial, the defendant had never been convicted and regretted his actions and apologized, and the defendant had also returned some of the state's financial losses.

The verdict of the panel of judges is higher than the demands of the SBB Prosecutor's Office, Sudarmono Tuhulele and Raymond Chrisna Noya, who in the previous trial demanded the defendant to be in prison for 2.5 years and a fine of Rp. 50 million, subsidiary to three months in prison.
Based on this decision, both the defendant through his legal advisor and the Public Prosecutor's Office of SBB expressed his thoughts.
The other three defendants in the case included Demianus Ahiyate (former Head of Dukcapil SBB), Cloudya M. Soumeru who is the Director of CV. Digo Gemilang, and Rusdi Mansyur as PPK have been sentenced to imprisonment which is varied by the panel of judges of Corruption.
