Australian PM Invites Jokowi To Take A Ship To See Sydney Waters Slopes
JAKARTA - Australian Prime Minister (PM) Anthony Albanese invited Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to enjoy the view aboard the ship traveling from the Admiralty House pier to the Taronga Zoo pier, Sydney.
Albanese and Jokowi headed for the 8th Annual Meeting (ALM) of the Indonesian-Australia Leaders on Tuesday, July 4.
According to a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Albanese and Jokowi boarded the Australian Federal Police ship at around 13.20 local time.
Throughout the trip, Albanese and Jokowi chatted on the ship's back deck while enjoying the surrounding scenery.
Albanese was seen several times giving explanations to President Jokowi regarding a number of buildings and locations that could be seen from the ship.

Before crossing to the ALM location, PM Albanese also invited President Jokowi to view the Sydney Opera House building under the rainlight from the Admiralty House backyard.
The series of moments are like a reception from PM Albanese to President Jokowi. The reason is, on June 6, 2022, President Jokowi invited PM Albanese to ride a bicycle to enjoy the morning atmosphere at the Bogor Botanical Gardens when Albanese made a state visit to Indonesia.
PM Albanese even mentioned the cycling experience again when delivering a press conference with President Jokowi after the ALM.
"Unfortunately, we can't give you a cycling experience (because of the rain). However, today, we are still making a very fun journey and giving you a sight at the beautiful dock in Syndey," said Albanese.
President Jokowi attended the ALM accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, and Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Siswo Pramono.
