The Pre-Employment Card Program Is Confirmed To Continue Until 2024
BALI - The Pre-Employment Card Program will certainly continue until 2024. This is in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"What is certain is that 2024 is a follow-up and this was conveyed by the President during a meeting (Pre-Employment Card) at Sentul last year," said Executive Director of Pre-Employment Card Program Implementing Management Denni Purbasari at the 2023 Inclusive Lifelong Learning Conference (ILLC) press conference in Bali, Monday, July 3.
Even so, Denni was still reluctant to reveal the budget and the number of beneficiaries of the program from the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy.
"The budget and the number of people are still being discussed with the Job Creation Committee. Regarding what training will be offered, just wait," he said.
According to him, later the Pre-Employment will hold an activity at the end of July to announce the matter in more detail.
"Hopefully by the end of July, we will have activities, because I hope this will be a hope to show our flexibility to meet future skills," he added.
For your information, the Pre-Employment Card program has targeted 17 million participants since it was first launched or in 2020 until now.
Then, the Pre-Employment Card program has been implemented in 514 regencies/cities.
For this year, the program is targeted to reach 1 million participants with a total budget of IDR 4.37 trillion.
