Licin, Methamphetamine Dealer In Solok, West Sumatra Arrested After A Week Of Monitoring

The ranks of the Narcotics Unit of the Solok Police, West Sumatra, arrested four perpetrators suspected of abusing methamphetamine and marijuana in this area.

"The four perpetrators were arrested in different places," said Solok Police Chief AKBP Apri Wibowo through the Narcotics Head of the Solok Police, Iptu Oon Kurnia Ilahi, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, July 2.

He said that the arrests of the perpetrators began with reports from the public, where the perpetrators often carried out drug transactions. Then the police carried out surveillance and arrests after knowing the suspicious actions of the perpetrators.

One of the perpetrators arrested was a young mother with the initials SR (26), a resident of Jalan Imam Bonjol RT 2 RW 1, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sisarah District, Solok City. SR was arrested with his male friend WR (25), a resident of Jorong Batang Salosa Nagari Muaro, Sijunjung District, Sijunjung Regency.

Chronology of the arrest of the perpetrator began last Saturday at 20.30 WIB, officers arrested SR and WR who were on the side of the road having their address at Jorong Lubuk Agung, Nagari Koto Baru, Kubung District, Solok Regency.

Information began with members of the Narcotics Unit of the Solok Police receiving information from the public that two people were carrying narcotics of the type of methamphetamine.

"After the information was obtained, the officers immediately went to the perpetrator's place and conducted an investigation. Then the officers saw that two people were in the car similar to the characteristics obtained from the community. Our members immediately arrested the two of them," he said.

Then, evidence was secured in the form of a package suspected of being methamphetamine wrapped in clear clamp plastic, a black Samsung brand cellphone, and a black Toyota Innova with BA 1232 KP number.

On the same day, the Solok Police Satnarkoba Spider Team arrested one man suspected of being the perpetrator of a marijuana type narcotics with the initials HE (47), a resident of Jorong Lakuak, Nagari Tanjung Binkung, Kubung District, Solok Regency.

Together with HE, officers secured evidence in the form of two packages suspected of being marijuana-type narcotics wrapped in a black and white plastic bag and a white Android cellphone.

HE was arrested on Saturday (1/7) at around 17.00 WIB while at a house in Jorong Lakuak, Nagari Tanjung Binkung, Kubung District, Solok Regency.

Finally, the Solok Police Satnarkoba Spider Team arrested one adult male suspected of being the perpetrator of a marijuana type narcotics with the initials RG (30), a resident of Jorong Durian, Nagari Tanjung Binkung, Kubung District, Solok Regency.

Together with RG, evidence was secured in the form of two packages suspected of being marijuana-type narcotics wrapped in clear plastic and a black OPPO brand android cellphone.

RG was arrested while in the yard of a house in Jorong Durian, Nagari Tanjung Kunkung, Kubung District, Solok Regency, which started when a member of the Narcotics Unit of the Solok Police received information from the public that someone often abused marijuana.

After that, the officers went straight to the perpetrator's place and conducted an investigation, then the officer saw someone sitting in the yard of a house similar to the characteristics obtained from the community.

Furthermore, the entire evidence was confiscated by officers and witnessed by the public, as well as all the perpetrators and all the evidence was brought to the Solok Police for further investigation.
