The news about the existence of social assistance amounting to Rp. 125 million was conveyed by the sender on behalf of the BPJS Health officer who stated that the recipient of the message was chosen as the recipient of social assistance.

"U/Info Please Hub office marketing BPJS DRS.MUH REZKY ALAMSYAH M.SI Whatshapp +6282192791064". This is a written message sent to the recipient of the message.

The message that reported the existence of social assistance from BPJS Kesehatan was widely received by residents in four districts on Madura Island, both in Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep regencies.

The sender uses a different WhatsApp number and cannot be contacted by the recipient of the message.

Munaqib explained, if there is a program that concerns the interests of the wider community, official announcements are usually made on the BPJS Kesehatan website, and mainstream mass media.

"So, once again that is not true. Please just ignore it," said Munaqib.

He also asked the public to be more careful when receiving messages that were not clearly sent.

"Recently, many messages have been circulating that are unclear, and tend to contain fake news. Therefore, please, first clarify with the authorities or come directly to the BPJS Health office," he said.
