Blibli Provides Products And Storage Services For Halal Certified Warehouses

JAKARTA - Committed to support the creation of Indonesia's halal ecosystem, Blibli emphasized operational standard procedures by fulfilling halal certification warehouses.

According to its official broadcast, the fulfillment of this halal-certified warehouse is present for two logistics facilities in Kramat Jati and Batu Ceper, while standardization of halal warehousing has been implemented throughout the Blibli warehousing network.

Head of BPJPH (Halal Product Guarantee Agency), Dr. Muhammad Aqil Irham said, seeing this, his party is optimistic that Indonesia can become a leader in the halal industry in Indonesia.

He also explained that strategic efforts were being carried out, one of which was that in 2023 BPJPH provided Free Halal Certification facilities for 1 million SME products.

"Currently, the data we have had since BPJPH operates, there have been more than 1.8 million halal certificates issued. So through collaboration with all stakeholders, both Ministries/Institutions to friends in the private industry, we invite them to commit to ensuring halal products," said Aqil, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 29.

"This commitment was demonstrated by Blibli today, and we hope to inspire all e-commerce and business actors in Indonesia to move forward together in the halal industry, we flood Indonesia with halal products, lest we even be flooded with halal products abroad," he added.

The presence of the halal-certified warehouse further complements Blibli's operational excellence in ensuring the storage and fulfillment of orders for hygienic, reliable customers, and has the best quality for customers according to the criteria for the Halal Guarantee System.

This achievement is a follow-up to the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between Blibli and the Halal Product Guarantee Administration Agency (BPJPH) some time before regarding the integration of halal product data banks available in Blibli.

With this achievement, Muslim consumers in Indonesia can easily and comfortably find halal products through Blibli Hasanah curation, as well as be convinced of warehousing services including staff trained according to the Halal Security System.

"As the first halal omnichannel trade ecosystem and leading lifestyle platform in Indonesia, Blibli continues to strengthen its best service commitment in all sectors, including in the increasingly promising halal industry in Indonesia," said VP of Supply Chain Management Blibli, Sindu Sirat.

"With a special team conducting supervision at the warehouse according to the Halal Security System (HAS 23000), we also ensure that all processes in our warehouse and staff facilities have met operational standards that prioritize the criteria for ensuring halal products and cleanliness so that they can provide a piece of mind for customers," he continued.
