Same-sex Relationship, 3 Women In Central Kalimantan Kill Cafe Owner's Grandfather
PALANGKA RAYA - The General Criminal Directorate of the Central Kalimantan Police together with the Kapuas Police Joint Team and Palangka Raya Police arrested three lesbian women suspected of killing a grandfather named Lodoy Tamus (74), a resident of Jalan Kalimantan, Palangka Raya City.
Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol. Faisal F Napitupulu, said the three perpetrators of the grandfather's murder in a pathetic way were Herlina (27), Triwati Lestari (26), and Mustika Rahayu (27) who were employees of a cafe owned by the victim on Jalan Sisingamangaraja.
"The motive is that the perpetrator is jealous because his same-sex girlfriend has a relationship with the victim. Because of this, there is an intention to commit a premeditated murder against Lodoy," said Faisal, Tuesday, June 20.
He recounted that before the incident on Saturday, June 3 at around 20.00 WIB at the Barito Indah Cafe, Jalan Sisingamangaraja owned by Lodoy, Herlina invited Triwati Lestari and Mustika Rahayu to plan to kill the victim.
On Thursday, June 8, the perpetrators who had planned their actions rented a Toyota Avanza car at a car rental. After that at around 10:00 WIB, they picked up the victim on Jalan Bangka on the grounds of attending the Herlina family wedding in Timpah Village, Timpah District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan.
However, at around 11.00 WIB they left for the village they were going for. But when they crossed the Kahayan Bridge they stopped for a while to buy two bottles of alcoholic beverages and added two more bottles of the victim while drinking in the car.
However, in the car they used, a nylon type rope was prepared to kill the victim. Arriving at Simpang Timpah Pujon towards Buntok, Mustika Rahayu immediately strangled the victim with a nylon rope and Triwati Lestari held her hand and hit her chest five times using a hammer, causing the victim to die.
After they had continued their journey to Buntok several times, then at 23.00 WIB they stopped near the culverts of the Sei Luhing River, Kayu Bulan Village, District, Kapuas Tengah, Kapuas Regency.
"At that location they dumped the bodies of the victims with their hands and feet tied and given stones for weighting to sink," he said.
After the incident, the perpetrators fled to Palangka Raya City. While in Palangka Raya, the police who handled the case revealed the actions of the incident until they arrested the three perpetrators at one of the barracks in Palangka Raya City without a fight.
"The motive for the case is because Herlina is jealous of Lodoy (victims) and has a grudge because she has been scolded so that the person concerned commits the act," he said.

For his actions, the three women suspected of being lesbians are now subject to Article 340 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment of at least 20 years in prison for a maximum of life.
Now all three are languishing in the Central Kalimantan Police Headquarters Detention Center to account for their actions.
