A Total Of 41 People Allegedly Poisoned After Eating Soto In Kendari, From ASN To Internship Students
A total of 41 people were suspected of being poisoned after eating chicken soup in the Puuwatu District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, Monday (19/6).
"Based on reports of food poisoning alerts, the number of sick victims is 41 people," said Head of the Kendari City Health Office Rahminingrum as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.
According to him, residents suspected of being poisoned after eating chicken soup include state civil servants (ASN) who participated in promotion events at the Agricultural Instrument Standard Implementation Center (BPSIP) on Jalan Prof. M. Yamindi, Puuwatu District, as well as students who are interns at BPSIP.
"Of the 41 victims who were victims of food poisoning, apart from ASN, they also included interns," he said.
Initially there were 28 people from the BPSIP Office who treated at the Puuwatu Health Center and Sarlina Saf Clinic at the same time as similar complaints, namely dizziness, weakness, vomiting, stomach pain, and snatching, after eating chicken soup on Monday (19/6) at around 10.00 WITA.

"After consuming chicken soup, at 13.00 WITA several employees experienced complaints of vomiting and dizziness, followed by several other employees with the same complaint," he said.
Residents who experience health problems after eating soto have received medical treatment at health centers and clinics.
The police are investigating the cause of the health problems that occurred in the ASN and students.
Head of the Kendari Police Investigation and Criminal Unit AKP Fitrayadi said the police had taken samples of chicken soup and chicken lontong which were consumed by patients and patient vomit samples for examination in the laboratory.
