Indonesian Congregants Are Advised Not To Force Tarwiyah Worship
Indonesian pilgrims are asked to maintain physical health while waiting for the peak of the pilgrimage and not to impose tarwidya on the 8th of Dzulhijjah, especially since the government did not facilitate it.
Head of the Bimbad Section of the Madinah Working Area (Kander) Yendra Al Hamidy explained that there were indeed fictitious Bimbads and Rasulullah had also carried out tarwiyah on Dzulhijjah 8th.
"However, because of the extraordinary congregation, the extraordinary age rate, and this year the number of elderly people is also extraordinary, it means let alone this amount, what is normal does not allow the government to facilitate it," Yendra said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, June 17.
Tarwiyah is the process of staying the pilgrims in Mina before they carry out wif in Arafah on the 9th of Dzulhijjah.
For one night before the peak of the pilgrimage, the congregation reflects on the greatness of Allah SWT and prays and remembers.
Yendra emphasized that with the absence of government facilities for tarwiyah and the hot weather in Mecca from noon to evening which reached above 40 degrees Celsius, the congregation was advised not to force tarwiyah.

According to him, the hot weather in Mecca is at risk for the health of the congregation, so it is necessary to anticipate it by resting a lot, not forcing worship that is not part of the hajj sector.
Even so, his party believes that there will still be Indonesian pilgrims who carry out tarwiyah worship and the government, in this case, will not prohibit it.
"Traviyah pilgrims are welcome. The point is that the sunnah is welcome to run, but don't let unwanted things happen, because the next day it will be wukuf in Arafah," he said.
Yendra emphasized that in this case the government's position did not order and did not prohibit pilgrims from carrying out tarwiyah services with the consequence that no facilities were prepared for pilgrims who carried out tarwiyah.
