Evander Holyfield Opens Up The Possibility Of A Trilogy Duel With Mike Tyson In The Exhibition Match
JAKARTA Former heavyweight boxer Evander Holyfield opened up the possibility of a trilogy battle against arch-enemy Mike Tyson in an exhibition duel.
These two heavyweight legends were previously involved in the most iconic rivalry in boxing in the 1990s. In the two previous clashes, Holyfield always came out victorious.
In a recent statement, Holy admitted that he was very open to fighting his old rivals in exhibition duels without prioritizing gifts. In addition, he emphasized that the duel was just entertainment.
"Okay, if we can do it well. It's not about me, it's about the two of us," said Holyfield.
Holyfield previously stopped Tyson in a fierce battle in 1996. They met again a year later, where Tyson was disqualified for biting his opponent's ear.
However, this couple has improved their relationship after that. The harmonious relationship between the two makes the exhibition duels discussed above likely to materialize.

"We did, making money that we might not be able to make. So, the most important thing is to find something we both can do and we understand that this is not a fight," said Holyfield.
"It will showcase some good skills, show skills but this is not a real fight. We are not trying to kill each other," he added.
Tyson, 56, made a surprise by fighting again in 2020 in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. 54. The duel lasted eight rounds and ended in a draw without any injuries between the two. A year later, Holyfield, 60, also made a comeback in the boxing ring. However, he had to accept defeat from UFC star Vitor Belfort, 46.
