AGMS Holds, Antam Distributes IDR 1.91 Trillion Dividend
JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) today, Thursday, June 15, 2023.
The AGMS approved the distribution of dividends to shareholders amounting to Rp1.91 trillion or 50 percent of the company's net profit in 2023.
Meanwhile, the remaining 50 percent or IDR 1.91 trillion was recorded as the company's profit balance.
RIsiko Antam's Director of Finance and Management, Elisabeth RT Siahaan, said the share value per share was 79.50 per share.
"The dividend distribution schedule will be announced when submitting a summary of the AGMS to the OJK, usually the provisions are a maximum of 30 days after the RSAL according to OJK provisions," he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday, June 15.
Regarding the use of retained earnings, Elisabeth continued, it will be used to strengthen the company's capital and will be used for the existing project that Antam had previously carried out.
"For future projects, if we need a risking fund, we already have enough capital power. The projects we are doing are still the same as before," continued Elisabeth.
Antam Syarif Corporate Secretary Faisal Alkadrie explained that the company's profit in 2022 was IDR 3.82 trillion or grew 105 percent compared to 2021, which was IDR 1.68 trillion.
"Throughout 2022, we are also able to maintain optimization of the production and sales rate so that in 2022 our net sales will reach Rp45.93 trillion," said Faisal.

In the first quarter of 2023, Antam scored a profit for the year of IDR 1.66 trillion or grew 13 percent from the same period the previous year which was IDR 1.47 trillion.
The solid performance of operations and finance was reflected in the achievement of EBITDA in the first quarter of IDR 2.52 trillion, an increase from the previous period's achievement of IDR 2.10 trillion or grew 19 percent.
