Former Takalar Regent Witness Of The Marine Sand Mining Corruption Trial

The Public Prosecutors of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office, Mudazzir Munsir, Andi Irfan Hasan, Sri Suyanti Malotu, and Andi Satrani and the Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Takalar Anggiriani Kejari in the trial questioned a number of questions to witnesses.

"The public prosecutor in the trial has presented evidence in the form of three witnesses to be heard in order to prove the public prosecutor's indictment against the defendant GM," said Mudazzir Munsir Public Prosecutor's Team after the trial, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 6.

After examining three witnesses presented by the public prosecutor in the trial and hearing witness statements, the Panel of Judges then postponed the trial until Monday, July 10, 2023.

The follow-up trial with the evidentiary agenda is to provide the public prosecutor with the opportunity to present other witness evidence to strengthen the indictment.

At the previous trial, Monday, June 5, 2023, the public prosecutor also presented witnesses before the trial, namely four ASN, including AU witnesses as staff of the South Sulawesi Provincial Environmental Management Secretariat, witness A, staff for Accounting and Reporting of the Takalar Regency BPKD.

In addition, witnesses D DA, staff of the South Sulawesi Provincial Energy and Mineral Resources Office and witnesses S, Village Head Secretary Pa'Bukang Village, South Polongbangkeng District, Takalar Regency.

In the indictment of the public prosecutor, the defendant GM as the former Head of the Takalar Regency Regional Financial Management Agency in 2020 is suspected of having committed a criminal act of corruption in irregularities in determining the selling price of Takalar sea sand.
