Regarding PDIP Offering PAN Support Ganjar, Airlangga Says There Will Be Discussion With Zulhas
JAKARTA - The Golkar Party together with PAN will discuss the offer submitted by the PDI-P (PDIP) to PAN regarding the appointment of Ganjar Pranowo as a candidate for president (candidate) in the 2024 election.
"Later we will discuss it," said Golkar General Chair (Ketum) Airlangga Hartarto to reporters after meeting President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in his capacity as Coordinating Minister for the Economy at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday, June 5, confiscated by Antara.
Previously, PAN was offered by the PDI-P to participate in carrying Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election. The offer was submitted when PAN visited the PDI-P DPP Office on Friday, June 2.
Airlangga conveyed that to his knowledge the General Chairperson of PAN Zulkifli Hasan alias Zulhas would coordinate with the Golkar Party regarding this matter.
"Of course yesterday, the General Chairperson of Mr. Zulhas (Zulkifli Hasan) said he would coordinate with the Golkar Party as well," he said.

As for the presidential election from the Golkar Party, Airlangga conveyed that according to the mandate of the Golkar Party National Working Meeting, he as the General Chair of Golkar was given the flexibility of the internal party to decide on the presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election, including the matter of the coalition.
He emphasized that according to the decision of the National Conference, Rapim, and the Golkar National Working Meeting, there would be no shift in him as a presidential candidate to be promoted by the Golkar Party in the 2024 presidential election.
"That's the result of the decision of the National Conference, Rapim, and National Working Meeting, so there is no shift (change)," said Airlangga regarding his candidacy from Golkar.
Airlangga said that his discourse on running in the presidential election with PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan was still open.
As for today, Monday, June 5, PAN is rumored to be holding a political meeting with the Gerindra Party. Airlangga responded to the meeting as a normal thing because according to him Golkar often met Gerindra.
"Each time PAN has met Gerindra. Golkar also meets Gerindra every time," said Airlangga.
He emphasized that the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) consisting of Golkar, PAN, and PPP will not disband. He said KIB was actually open to other parties to join.
