KPU Strives For Transparency In Reporting Campaign Funds Through Sidakam, Can Be Accessed By KPK To PPATK
The General Election Commission (KPU) seeks to ensure transparency in the receipt, use, and reporting of campaign funds for the 2024 General Election through the campaign fund information system (Sidakam) application.
"Transparency (the campaign fund is presented) through Sidakam, namely the campaign fund information system. Take a stand to create a pattern so that information on the implementation of campaigns and public responses can be used as material for the match between the suitability of the election participant campaign fund report and the facts of funding in the campaign process," said KPU member Idham Holik as reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 29.
He conveyed this in the DPR Commission II Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the KPU, the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), the Election Organizers Honorary Council (DKPP), and the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) at the DPR building.
Furthermore, he said, the use of Sidakamatu was further regulated by the KPU in the Draft KPU Regulation (RPKPU) regarding the reporting of campaign funds submitted by Idham in the RDP.
Idham said that Sidikam has a feature to upload campaign activities.
