DKI Tests The Feasibility Of Candidates For KJP And KJMU Recipients Until May 24
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has tested the feasibility of prospective students who receive the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus and the Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU) until it is finished on May 24 this year.
"Students or prospective students receiving KJP Plus and KJMU Phase I 2023 are currently still in the process of receiving social assistance and are targeted (this process) to be completed on May 24, 2023," said Head of the Center for Personal Funding and Education Operations (P4OP) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office, Waluyo Hadi, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 17.
He said the process was in order to ensure the benefits of social education assistance from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in KJP Plus and KJMU received by the right hands.
Previously, many netizens asked in the comments column for uploading the UPT_P4OP social media account regarding the time for the disbursement of KJP funds in May 2023, even though in the previous two months the disbursement of KJP Plus had been carried out before the 10th.
The management of the Instagram account @UPT_P4OP replied that the data on prospective KJP Plus and KJMU Phase I recipients in 2023 is currently still in the process of being analyzed to ensure the accuracy of the recipients of the social assistance for education costs.
"Good afternoon, an analysis of prospective KJP Plus recipients and KJMU Phase 1 of 2023 is being carried out to ensure the accuracy of recipients of social assistance for education costs," the statement quoted from the Instagram account said.
Warganet, as monitored in the account, suspects that delays occur because there are new regulations that make prospective KJP Plus and KJMU Phase I recipients in 2023 need to be re-selected.
In Chapter VII of Governor Regulation Number 110 of 2021 concerning Social Assistance for Education Costs, there are 23 prohibitions that can make KJP recipients lose the benefits of education social assistance from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Waluyo denied that there was a delay in the disbursement process for KJP Plus and KJMU.
"The target for disbursement of KJP Plus and KJMU at the end of May 2023," said Waluyo.
Waluyo added, there is a possibility that smoker participants and others can be issued data in this feasibility test process because it has been banned in Chapter VII of Governor Regulation 110/2021 concerning Social Assistance for Education Costs.
Data from the DKI Jakarta Education Office (Disdik) in early March this year stated that the total number of KJP Plus recipients was 803,121 students from public and private schools.
The amount of funds received for elementary/mi students is IDR 250 thousand, SMP/MTs IDR 300 thousand and SMA/MA IDR 420 thousand. As for vocational students, it is IDR 450 thousand and the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) is IDR 300 thousand.
