Charta Politica Survey, Ganjar Unggungli Prabowo In The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Charta Politica Institute released the results of the latest survey where Ganjar Pranowo was ahead of Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan, as presidential candidates in the 2024 General Election.
"In the simulation of three names, Ganjar was chosen by 36.6 percent of respondents, Prabowo 33.2 percent, and Anies 23 percent. Meanwhile, 7.2 respondents stated that they did not know or did not answer," said Charta Politica Indonesia researcher Ardha Ranadireksa, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 4.
In terms of trend, he said, Ganjar's electability increased after the announcement as a presidential candidate by the PDI-P on April 21. The previous survey, Ganjar's electability of 31.4 percent, rose to 36.6 percent.
"Meanwhile, Prabowo experienced a significant increase in electability in the survey for the period 4-7 April, and was quite stable in the period 27-30 April. Meanwhile, Anies' electability had a decrease in the two telephone surveys that we conducted," he explained.
Charta Politica Indonesia conducted a survey on 27-30 April 2023. The survey by telephone used a sample of 1,200 respondents.
Respondents were randomly selected from a collection of random samples, in a face-to-face survey conducted by Charta Politica Indonesia.
A total of 197,344 respondents were randomly distributed in the last two years, around 75 percent had phone numbers.
The number of samples randomly selected for calls was 7,500 data, and 1,200 respondents were successfully interviewed.
The survey used a simple random sampling assumption, the number of 1,200 respondents had a margin of error (MoE) of 2.83 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
For information, the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates is scheduled to open from 19 October 2023 to 25 November 2023.
