8 COVID-19 Positive Patients After Eid 2023 Treated At Bantul Hospital
DI YOGYAKARTA - Panembahan Senopati Hospital Bantul Regency is currently treating eight patients who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 after the 2023 Eid holiday.
"The case of COVID-19, for the current condition after Lebaran, which was positive eight people, then three suspects," said Director of the Panembahan Hospital, Senopati Bantul Atthobari in Bantul, Special Region (DI) Yogyakarta, Wednesday, May 3, as reported by Antara.
According to him, eight COVID-19 patients who were in isolation room treatment were in stable condition, with mild symptoms. The patient was admitted to the hospital owned by the local government after previously examining his health condition.
"They were admitted to the hospital, the symptoms were found because of screening. He entered because there was another underlying disease, then when he wanted to be hospitalized we screened, then caught COVID-19 and we treated him, we separated him in the isolation room, but his condition was quite stable," he said.
He explained that the eight COVID-19 patients were indeed new confirmed cases, after the momentum of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah, which was admitted to have increased patient visits at the Panembahan Senopati Hospital.
"This new COVID-19 case, after Lebaran, is still being treated now, so in that number of hospitals, previously there were and already gone home, yesterday before Lebaran there were five people, all of them have recovered, and this is new," he said.

For this reason, his party appealed to the public to avoid transmission of COVID-19 and other diseases after the Lebaran holiday, to always apply health protocols, and a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) in every activity in the community and the work environment.
"Currently, maybe conditions in society are back to normal, starting to carry out activities as usual, for that to people who have started to routinely carry out activities are advised to maintain health, obey PHBS, PHBS is the key to always maintain health," he said.
