Tuguan Masuk Jajaran EV Terbaru VW
Towards the full electric vehicle realm, Volkswagen said it was preparing three new electric-powered SUVs into the "ID" lineup.
VW prepared the three SUVs to expand the reach of electric vehicles, especially in the European market, reported by Autocar, Tuesday, May 2.
The plan is for VW to prepare an ID.4 and ID.5 model with an upgrade to the powertrain option by the end of 2023, before the two models are made a facelift version. Both will also get an initial digital interior update in 2024.
Furthermore, two small electric crossover models or SUVs are also being prepared by the manufacturer from Wolfsburg, Germany.
One more thing, Volkswagen is rumored to be raising and changing the Tiguan model as an electric vehicle. The plan, the Tiguan EV was introduced in 2025.
The manufacturer does not want to reveal the specifications. However, it is hoped that the car has an interior capacity of five seats and is accompanied by an optional seven seats. It is likely that VW will offer a choice of rear wheel drive and all wheels.
VW is also preparing a new generation platform, namely MEB+ with further development than before, MEB.
"To achieve this, we are investing substantially in increasing it. With MEB+, we will be in a very good position in the future," said VW CEO Thomas Sch wayfer.

The MEB+ platform is also planned to adopt the latest battery cell technology. Confirmed from Volkswagen, the battery cell will be introduced in 2025.
