After Prambanan Temple, Now Ganjar Pranowo Sidak Borobudur Temple, This Is The Result
Last week, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, conducted a surprise inspection or inspected the Prambanan Temple Tourism Park. This time the same thing was done at the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park, Saturday, April 15. Borobudur Temple is also a favorite tourist destination for tourists during the 2023 Eid holiday.
Ganjar went around monitoring the flow of homecoming and checking the Lebaran 2023 post at a number of points in the Magelang area. After that, enter the main location of the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park.
Ganjar Pranowo, who was accompanied by his wife, Siti Atikoh, arrived at the Borobudur Temple area at around 13.00 WIB. Ganjar's arrival was not specially welcomed. He queued with other tourists when he entered the Borobudur Temple.
The governor of Central Java for two periods then bought a special ticket for an entrance visit to the temple courtyard. The price is set at IDR 50,000 per person.
At that time, the Borobudur Unit GM PT Taman Wisata Borobudur Prambanan and Ratu Boko (TWC) Jamaludin Mawardi, accompanied Ganjar. "We ensure that all tourist attractions are ready to accept tourists, including maybe around Borobudur, the crowd is on the third day of Eid," said Ganjar.
From the results of monitoring in the temple, Ganjar saw that the facilities and officers in the Borobudur Temple area were ready to accept tourists. He hopes that this can be imitated by other tourism managers.
"Officers in front of the briefing are good. If it's like Borobudur, the system is relatively small, good. Including the human resources, the rules. Hopefully, other tourist attractions will adjust later," he said.
Ganjar Pranowo also had time to check the location of the traders located at the exit of the Borobudur Temple area. It appears that several parts are under renovation, but buying and selling activities are still ongoing.
"Because in the past there were complaints from several traders that all of them could be agreed upon to be given a special place, although in my opinion yes, there is still a representative need to be found," he said.
For information, the entrance ticket to the Borobudur Temple area is priced at IDR 50,000 for domestic tourists. Meanwhile, domestic tourists who want to go up to the temple, only spend IDR 150,000.
Meanwhile, for foreign tourists who want to enter and go up to Borobudur Temple, the price is set at IDR 500,000, with the profit of getting special souvenirs and tourist guide facilities for free.
Ganjar Pranowo also appealed to tourism managers, especially those who are still new, to ensure that their infrastructure is in good condition. "I ask those who have game rides to be audited, so that their safety can be guaranteed," he said.
