Dry Cake Manufacturers Start To Be Flooded With Orders Ahead Of Eid, Production Day 100 Stoples

JAKARTA - The producer of pastries in East Jakarta, began to be flooded with orders ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri.

Farah Maharani (44), a dry cake entrepreneur in Kalisari, Pasar Rebo, said that he and a number of employees were starting to be overwhelmed with producing pastries because orders were starting to grow.

Although Eid al-Fitr is still far away, he has received 3,000 cake jars from consumers.

"We can produce around 3,000 to 5,000 jars until Lebaran. Alhamdulillah, for Eid, it will increase, it could be up to thousands of jars. At first, the day was not too significant, before Eid, the graph immediately went up," Farah told reporters, Sunday, April 9.

Over time approaching Eid, continued Farah, the order will also continue to grow. The woman who has been in this business for 3 years continues to open orders for pastries.

"Our employees have 14 people, we divide the two shifts. The first shift is at 08.00 WIB. The second shift is at 01.00 WIB. We produce 100 stops a day per day," he said.

In marketing his pastries products, Farah said consumers usually order cakes through DM via WhatsApp or word-of-mouth information through friends to friends. They tell you later the resellers will come here

"Resellers are from everywhere, from Jabodetabek there is. Alhamdulillah, there has been an increase, many orders have started. Later we will close the po after a few more days after today," he said.

Farah admitted that she was forced to close orders because she was starting to get overwhelmed with the many orders for pastries.

"Because orders have started to boom, we are afraid of overloading, we have stopped first. We focus on incoming orders," he explained.

There are various types of dry cakes sold by Farah. Starting from nastar, kastengel, Snow White, original smprit, such as cheese chocolate and peanut cakes.

"Until now, 3,000 orders have been entered, it can still be increased," he said.
