Special Military Operations, Russia Increases High Accuracy Arms Production
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Sunday Moscow had significantly increased production of high-accuracy weapons.
Speaking during a meeting with military leaders at the headquarters of Russia's armed forces in Moscow, Shoigu admitted that he had inspected the implementation of the Ministry of Defense's order to improve the country's defense industry.
"All of this is done so that the implementation of the tasks that have been determined by the Supreme Commander (President Vladimir Putin) is in accordance with the plan to carry out a special military operation," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, April 2.
During the meeting, Shoigu also received reports of ammunition supplies for the Russian army in Ukraine.
He said that the ammunition issue would continue to be under the control of the defense ministry.
Russian military leaders also discussed steps to boost supply logistics to the Russian armed forces.
