Rows Of Disappointed Artists In Indonesia Canceled To Host The U-20 World Cup
JAKARTA - Indonesia canceled hosting the U-20 World Cup after its status was revoked by the highest organization in football, FIFA on Wednesday, March 29 evening.
Knowing the news, several Indonesian artists expressed their disappointment through their respective social media accounts.
Gading Marten, one of the artists known as football lovers, expressed regret. through his Insta Story upload. He felt that what Indonesian football lovers had been dreaming of had been buried alone.
"TIME AND THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!" wrote Gading Marten quoted Thursday, March 30.
"I used to be told to dream, now bury my own dreams," he continued.
Maia Estianty, who recently showed her interest in football, also expressed her disappointment. For information, the mother of Al, El and Dul joined the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as a form of her love for football.

Actor Kevin Julio also voiced the same thing. Through his two Insta Story uploads, he expressed his sadness.
"Sad, embarrassed, hurt, anvur," wrote Kevin Julio, including the FIFA website which stated that Indonesia had canceled its host of the U-20 World Cup.
"Be patient. Be patient my compatriots and their homeland," Kevin wrote in another Insta Story upload.
Meanwhile, Raffi Ahmad, a celebrity and owner of a club in Liga 1 Indonesia, had given his support to Erick Thohir when discussing the problems with FIFA President, Gianni Infantino.
"I pray for Mr. Erick Thohir so that his trip to the meeting with FIFA can get the best results for all of us Indonesians. Sukses Pak Erick, we pray, one Indonesia wishes Mr. Erick so that his business will run smoothly," said Raffi Ahmad in a video uploaded to his Insta Story.
However, after Indonesia was officially declared null and void in hosting the U-20 World Cup, Raffi Ahmad had not yet responded.
