The Facilities At Soetta Airport Which Were Damaged Due To The Arrival Of The Rizieq Shihab Crowd Have Been Repaired
JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura II as the manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten, ensures that the repair facilities in the international arrivals area have been completed and are now in good condition and can be used by visitors.
"It has been repaired quickly, not more than an hour yesterday. So the current condition is in good condition," said VP of Corporate Communication of PT Angkasa Pura II Yado Yarismano quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 11.
Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang was packed with crowds welcoming Habib Rizieq Shihab. Crowds gathered starting from the road around the airport and also the international arrival lounge. As a result, there are several facilities that need to be repaired by airport managers.
Yado added that an inventory is still being carried out if there are other facilities that need to be repaired as a result of the crowd of visitors yesterday.
He said that Soekarno-Hatta Airport has an important role in the national aviation sector, so the company and its stakeholders are committed to maintaining the smooth operation of the airport.
"We have implemented a number of anticipatory steps so that Soekarno-Hatta Airport will continue to run normally," said Yado Yarismano.
Meanwhile, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said that the handling of crowds at the airport was carried out quickly by all stakeholders, including PT Angkasa Pura II, the TNI, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health (KKP Kemenkes), Immigration, Customs and Excise, ground handling officers, airlines and other parties.
As for flight departures that experienced delays yesterday until around 12.00 WIB, there were 118 flights with details of 110 domestic routes and eight international routes.
"A number of flights experienced delays of around 1-2 hours, but after that flight operations were running normally," said Agus Haryadi.
