Coordinating Minister For PMK Called Job Creation Law Can Solve Inequality Problems
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy believes that the Omnibus Law on Cipta Kerja will solve the problem of inequality that occurs in society.
This is because the law passed on Monday, October 5 will overhaul the labor structure.
"There will be a major overhaul of the structure of the workforce in Indonesia, where small business actors will even grow to the middle class," said Muhadjir in an event broadcast on YouTube, Wednesday, October 14.
The Job Creation Law, he continued, is also felt to be able to build corporations and businesses that prioritize mutual cooperation.
"That way, it will create equality which has been a problem for Indonesia," he said.
"Inequality is still a problem for Indonesia and with the breakthrough of the Ciptaker Law, I am sure that it will also be implemented properly and with the best results," added the former Minister of Education and Culture.
Muhadjir did not deny that the implementation of this law may still have weaknesses and shortcomings. However, this can still be addressed in the future.
"The mistakes can still be corrected as we go along. At least they can be regulated in lower regulations, both Government Regulations and Presidential Regulations," he said.
"I am sure that the Ciptaker Law, including the problem of inequality, will be overcome," he added.
Furthermore, Muhadjir asked policymakers to socialize the law together.
"So that those who do not understand can immediately understand so that those who are consumed by hoaxes start to realize that their beliefs are deviant and they sooner or later adopt, they can accept that Ciptaker is an inevitable thing for the future," he concluded.
