PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) reconstructed seven road points at once on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to improve user safety as well as efforts to meet the minimum service standards of Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT).

"There was no road closure during the road maintenance process. The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Jakarta or Cikampek direction is still operating normally," said Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT JTT Amri Sanusi, in Bekasi, West Java, Sunday.

He detailed that the first point road maintenance work was carried out at the entrance to West Karawang 1 in lane 1 along 130 meters from November 17-20 at 08.00 WIB.

Similar road maintenance work is carried out at access to North Cikarang in lane 2 along 95 meters starting November 17-20 at 13.00 WIB.

The third point is the 35-meter-long Cikunir Interchange 1 lane starting November 18-20 at 08.00 WIB. Then the exit access to East Karawang 2 starts November 19-20 at 06.00 WIB.

The reconstruction of the fifth point in lane 1 of Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang or Cipularang exit is 220 meters from November 19-23 at 17.00 WIB.

The last two points are Km 67 +073 to 67 + 058 respectively in lane 1 towards Jakarta and Km 67 + 100 to 66 +877 in lane 2 towards Jakarta starting November 20-26 at 17.00 WIB.

His party has prepared mitigation procedures, including diverting the flow of affected traffic before the work area, narrowing the work area, and preparing the opposite direction if the traffic conditions are heavy.

His party also socialized the work plan by installing outdoor media in the form of job appeal banners and Variable Message Signs in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to ensure this information is well received by road users.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the work in question, as well as urging road users to anticipate travel by ensuring that the vehicle is in prime condition, the electronic money balance is sufficient, and refuels before starting the trip.
