Pertamina Gives An Explanation On The Decreased Price Of Pertamax Cs

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) has again adjusted the price of Non-Subsidized Fuel (Bakar Oil) as of November 1, 2023. Pertamina reduces the price of Pertamax fuel, Pertamax Green 95, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, while Pertalite or subsidized fuel has not changed.

"The price of non-subsidized fuel every month as of the 1st has been adjusted to follow market prices, but we can convey that Pertamina's fuel price is the most competitive to maintain people's purchasing power," said VP Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina Fadjar Djoko Santoso in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, November 1.

Fadjar added that in the midst of fluctuations in world oil prices, Pertamina continues to strive to maintain the performance of its supply chains, including the flexibility in obtaining crude oil so that fuel product prices can remain competitive. "Including that we also do efficiency so that it can save production costs, Pertamina's fuel results remain competitive," added Fadjar.

PT Pertamina (Persero) has adjusted the price of fuel oil (BBM) in order to implement the Decree of the Minister (Kepmen) of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as a change to Kepmen No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Basic Price Formula in Calculation of Retail Selling Prices for Types of General Oil Fuel Types of Gasoline and Solar Oil which are channeled through Public Fuel Filling Stations.

"Referring to the regulation, the monthly fuel price will experience adjustments according to market prices, so that people are expected to have been educated and to update prices can be checked through the Pertamina website and the MyPertamina application," said Fadjar.

The price of Pertamina's fuel in DKI Jakarta as of November 1, 2023 is as follows:

Pertalite: IDR 10,000 per liter of Pertamax: IDR 13,400 per liter of Pertamax Turbo: IDR 15,500 per liter of Dexlite: 16,950 per liter of Pertamina Dex: IDR 17,750 per liter of Mitamax Green 95: IDR 15,000 per liter
