The award was handed over by the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita in Jakarta, Monday, October 23.

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, said that IHYA is a promotion and improvement of the halal industry that has been initiated since 2021. This event is in accordance with President Joko Widodo's direction, to pay more attention to the development of the halal industry.

This year is the third time the event has been held, followed by 693 participants from various industries. This figure is up 100 percent compared to 2022, which is only 315 participants. Of all the participants who participated, 189 of them passed the verification, until finally 63 participants were screened as recipients of IHYA 2023.
